The Amazing Career of Louis Chenevert
Louis Chenevert was born in 1958. He is a world renowned businessman and an investor who served as the president and the chief executive officer of United Technologies Corporation. He was also the chairman of Pratt & Whitney Canada. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Production Management from HEC Montreal which is a school of business of the University of Montreal. Throughout his career, Mr. Chenevert has earned milestone credits. In 2009 he was bestowed the Honor award.
Later, in May 2011, he received an honorary research degree. The Aviation Week and Space Technology, a U.S air travel craft journal christened Louis as its person of the year. Louis was elected the chairman of UTC in 2006, where he also served as the vice-chairman of the executive committee of the council of business. He later joined the Merchant Banking Division at Goldman Sachs where he functioned as the Elite Consultant. He helped the organization board numerous opportunities in the industrial and exosphere segments.
Louis helped UTC to make significant gains in the market during the recession period and acquiring of Goodrich. He also steered the organization in intruding its commitment towards investment in high quality technology that stimulates growth for the company. He also emphasized on creating and establishing manufacturing jobs that would help in boosting the U.S economy at large. He believes that investing in the right technology and promotion of employee training and education can prepare the business for future success.

It holds the first position on the heating, freezing and air conditioning market and industry at large.
