End Citizens United – Ending Corruption through Advocacy
End Citizens United is a group that was formed with the primary goal to revert a landmark ruling by the Supreme Court. In 2010 the apex court decided in favor of Citizens United and ruled that imposition of regulations limiting campaign funding was unconstitutional. The judge who made this ruling has now retired and the End Citizens United is determined to overthrow the Supreme Court decision by legal means and advocacy.
Recently, the End Citizens United surveyed the support of representative Beto O’Rourke belonging to the Democratic party. They found that O’Rourke was hot on the heels of Ted Cruz, the opposing Republican Senator. The End Citizens United endorses the campaign of Beta O’Rourke because of his commitment to individually funded campaign with an emphasis on the people of Texas. He has rejected donations from political action committees backed by large corporates. On the other hand, Ted Cruz has received 1.3 million dollars in campaign contributions from corporate donors. In return, he has offered them tax rebates.
The End Citizens United commended the steps taken by as many as 70 senators and candidates to reject large-volume donations from corporate sources. These contenders include Senators Kristen Gillibrand and Cory Booker, and representatives such as Christine Hartman, Dean Phillips, Andy Kim, Randy Bryce, Elissa Slotkin, and Conor Lamb.
End Citizens United is a political advocacy organization that attempts to overthrow this decision. It was established in 2015 to reform the campaign system. Unscrupulous donor and political groups inject money into political campaigns. These donations are then used as leverage to manipulate the political agenda of parties and elected candidates.
End Citizens United aims to remove corruption from the electoral system by supporting candidates and parties use contributions from individuals or grass root funding. They also actively work towards bringing the problem of big money donations into the spotlight. They have raised significant capital resources for candidates who support their mission and refuse to accept substantial contributions from unsavory sources.
The End Citizen United group has a skilled team consisting of political experts and reform-minded individuals. Tifanny Muller heads the organization. Under her aegis, End Citizens United expanded its membership to include 3 million persons. She also helped raise 25 million dollars towards campaign funding, despite individual contributions remaining small, to the tune f 14 dollars only. She has helped elect Senators Catherine Cortez-Masto and Maggie Hassan, whose political thinking mirrors the philosophy of End Citizens United. Matt Burgess holds the post of Executive Vice President at End Citizens United. He has over a decade of expertise in campaign management for many well-known administrators. Adam Bozz heads communications and Anne Feldman handles the press releases at this organization. These are just a few of the many executives at End Citizens United who are committed to the ending political misconduct.
