Hussain Sajwani: DAMAC Group Properties
There are a number of corporations involved in construction in the Middle East. There is one corporation which is larger and featured more prominently than all of the rest. This corporation is known as DAMAC Group. It was founded by an individual known as Hussain Sajwani, an individual who has humble beginnings but has managed to create an incredible Empire.
Hussain Sajwani, the well-known DAMAC owner, was originally born in the United Arab Emirates in 1952. From a young age, he displayed exceptional ability and was able to be educated in Western universities. Whenever he returned to his home country from receiving his education at Western universities, he quickly realized the opportunities that presented themselves to him. Within a few years of returning to his country, he founded a corporation that provided food to troops from the United States.
In his forbes.com profile, it was noted that he first began to experience significant success whenever the government of Dubai began to allow foreign individuals to own property in the country. He quickly set up the corporation which is today known as DAMAC Group properties. Today DAMAC Group owns nearly 20,000 apartments and has an additional 44,000 properties that are under development. It also became the first publicly traded property development Corporation in 2015 whenever it held its initial public offering on the Dubai financial market.
DAMAC Group properties have managed to gain several notable contracts with members of the global elite. One of the most notable was a business partnership with the president of the United States Donald Trump. DAMAC Group properties have developed several Trump branded golf courses and resorts in the Dubai region. DAMAC Group properties as well known for their extravagant style of marketing. For a number of years, any properties that were purchased would come with free luxury vehicles. At one point in time individuals who purchased mansions were allowed to have a free studio apartment with their purchase of the mansion.
Today Hussain Sajwani is married and has four children. He lives in the country of Dubai with his family. One of his sons graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in economics and is now a general manager at DAMAC Group properties.
