Hussain Sajwani Journey to becoming a Real Estate mogul in the Middle East

Hussain Sajwani is a well-known businessman in the United Arab Emirates. His venture into real estate has bolstered his popularity in the business world. Hussain Sajwani is currently serving as the chairman of one of Dubai’s largest real estate known as DAMAC Properties. He also serves as the company’s president. He DAMAC owner has served the real estate industry for some time and has tried as hard as possible to meet the customers’ expectations.

Coming from a middle-class setting family, Hussain Sajwani’s parents had nothing to do other to ensure that their son got the best care they could afford. The DAMAC owner joined the University of Washington after completing his high school studies. He studied Industrial Engineering and Economics at the university. While in the university, Hussain Sajwani earned money to start his business by selling time-share apartments. After graduating from the university, the DAMAC owner worked for two years in a finance department. Here, he was tasked with the processing of payments for the contracts.

The experience gained here made him realize that there was money to be made if he had a company in the service industry. He worked at GASCO where he hired as the contract manager where he acquired more than enough knowledge regarding the competitive market. Working in corporate world did not appease Hussain Sajwani. He sought to start his company. This was a wise move has his food company flourished and a positive impact on lives of many people. The money earned in hospitality department propelled him to enter the real estate industry in a country that he realized that the industry was not fully exploited.

The DAMAC Properties Company was established in 2002 after he had worked in food services and catered to the construction giant Bechtel and U.S. military. His company was developed after foreigners were allowed to own business in Dubai. Within six months of his entry into the Dubai real estate market, had sold some units in the residential building. In 2013, his company entered into a partnership with Donald Trump so as to develop two golf courses in Dubai. The courses were Trump-branded.
