Founder Of Tieks Discusses What Makes A Real Hero

For some people, giving back is as natural as breathing. They give of their time, resources, and they even create ways to give back. Modern technology makes giving back even easier. Kfir Gavrieli, founder of Tieks is the perfect example of a natural giver. Tieks is a web only fashion brand that sells women’s flats. This brand is globally recognized and has been around since 2010.

Kfir Gavrieli created The Gavrieli Foundation, and through this foundation he invests in empowering women. One of the many ways The Gavrieli Foundation helps those in need is by providing loans for people living in poverty who are trying to become entrepreneurs. To date they have given out over $10,000,000 in loans to future entrepreneurs.

Tieks has been recognized by Forbes Magazine, Inc Magazine, Entrepreneur, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Mr. Gavrieli knows how important it is to make every choice for his business with fresh eyes. This helps him to create something that is fresh and brand new. Mr. Gavrieli credits his parents as being his heroes. His family immigrated to the United States when he was a small child.

They couldn’t speak English and had to start from the ground up. His parents’ example taught him that hard work pays off. Kfir Gavrieli is being called a community hero since the COVID 19 pandemic began. His company made thousands of face masks for healthcare workers. Once he learned about the shortages of face masks for healthcare workers, he knew he had to help in some way. See this page for additional information

This charitable effort became more than what his company could handle on their own so he reached out for help through social media. People began donating masks, and for every 25 masks donated they were given a $50 gift card, and for every 50 masks donated they were given a $100 gift card. They ended up donating over one million face masks. Kfir Gavrieli believes that a true hero is someone who puts others before themselves, and he tries his best to live his life by that.
